Here's a few pics of the Hondamatic unit out of a Rubicon for you viewing pleasure. Not that this happens alot, actually this is the first one I've ever had to replace. Bike was very low miles, must have been a freak thing.

I always wondered what made those things tick. Must have been all the broken pieces that were making the ticking sound.

That suks....What year is that? Ive heard of older pre 2005 having a bad bearing that was updated in 05.

would have been pre 2005, I don't remember, want to say 03? I think it had about 2500 miles maybe, perfect condition. What's wild is I drove it around and pulled it into the shop like that, I figured a bad joint in the ass end driveline from the sound it was making- wrong.

doesn't matter, you can't repair that unit, you have to buy a whole new hydro assembly.
