Yes there is a breaker under the seat in the middle some where the little pin pops out you just have to push it back in if you did not fry the fan motor itself

puttin a manual toggle switch in for your fan is always a good idea if you run in deep mud or water......even a little.

I just did my fan switch and temp gauge in the spring , I ran both wires for the switch to the temp sensor on the top left (if your sitting on the bike) of the rad , works great !!

ps... Tony seen u on another site MIMB , there is a how to on the temp gauge and fan switch mod .

As for that pesky little beaker under the seat .... get ride of it , go to an auto supply store and but a fuse holder and solder the wires on the new fuse holder to the factory wires and throw in a 15 amp automotive fuse . Works like a charm.

^^so easy it's sick! you can run off your fuse box or straight off yer battery (that's what I did) and just make sure ya got a good ground and an in-line 15 amp fuse on the pos. wire n yer good to go.
