Gawd I have a headache.
I thought doing it myself for once would be easier than paying $100 to a CPA. I hate the number game!

We would never do our own taxes. There are too many deductions and things to claim in our household. The 100.00 is worth it. We are meeting with our accountant this Saturday, the Fed and State refund will be in our account within 10 days.

Heck I thought it would be easy being single with no kids and only a mortgage and 401K #'s to deal with. Gonna give it one more shot tonite, then if I can't get it I'll just suck up the $20 I paid for the software and take it back to my tax lady.

No way would I ever do my own taxes. I USE to but like Turk mentioned, having a house, being married, my wife has a ga-zillion W2's every year, my ira's, 401K, all the deductions, that scraes the crap out of me. I pay our cpa $125.00 to do ours, we went this past friday and we are getting back $2907.00 from Federal and $397.00 from State. THAT'S what I'm waiting on do buy my bandsaw. Should be here in about a week.
