Hey guys got an 07 660 rhino. My cooling fan on my rad quit working on me the other day and my dash is burnt out so I never noticed till I was in some mud and had no power i would say about a mile of riding hot. Checked the motor 130 psi compression. So I would assume its fine. Starts and runs good still. But here is the problem when I try to move forward or backwards it revs like crazy and slowly picks up speed?

Could this be the wet clutch? and if so anything I should do while I am in there? This machine has a 686 big bore kit, alba performance exhaust system. I am running 27x12x12 mud lites all around with a 3" lift. I mostly ride trails with my wife and kids but also play alot in the mud with the buddies on the weekends. Plans are to go to a set of 30" zillas.

Thanks for the help

Drain the oil and C how much of the clutch material is in it. Wet Clutch and BBK don't mix IMO anyhew. Could be something else binding up, maybe in secondary. Did U look at everything? If it's like a Cat, just lean the bike over so oil don't come out and take the clutch out. Only way to C if it's in good shape, may be able to C in motor if there's crud in it. All just MO of course.

Well after we took it apart we found it was my primary. New grizzly sheave and greaseless 16 gram weights on the way. Should make a big improvement from the sheave i was running before.
