We aint catchin much... Temps are sky high and water levels are way low. The last couple local tournies have only had half of the anglers put 5 in the live well. 2 weeks ago a buddy of mine had the winning bag with 4 fish, 2 smallies and 2 largemouth for a total of 12 pounds 2 onces. In years past a 21-22 pound bag would have been needed to win on this lake. But it's realy all about gettin out and soaking up the sunshine with good friends, catching fish is 2nd on the list.
So hows that new boat treatin ya? You get your batteries and on-board charger all set up?

You're right on that one. I've gotten enough sunburn on the ol' noggin this summer. I did eventually get the on-board charging set up finally. Ended up going with 2 seperate 1 bank 10 amp models and joining them up in a junction box type ordeal so my plugs we're at the same location. As far as the actual boat, I couldn't be happier with it. Have around 20 hours on the outboard as of today which is about 15 more than what I put on my polaris in an entire 5 years lol. Thinking about a 19ft phoenix with a 200SHO for next year. Only time will tell lol.

Glad to hear it's working well for you Ronnie. Already thinking of the upgrade eh LOL. It's like an addiction, once you have one boat you want another... then you'll want one for shallow, and one for deep, then one for freshwater and one for salt water, then you'll want one that's just a cruiser, next thing you know there's half a dozen boats in the yard LOL. I've been eyeballing a early 60's Chris-Craft gentlemens run about, 23 feet of polished mahogany with a 502" big block Chevy and dry exhaust. Gives me goosebumps everytime I look at it lol, trying to convince myself to pull the trigger but the friggin thing costs as much as my house did.
Keep the lines tight buddy, it'll be cooling off soon enough.
