someone needs to help a cracker out on how to put up an avatar.

Scott, go to your profile, and down near the bottom, it has the avatar stuff, you can load it off of your computer, but it has to be no bigger than 80 pixles x 80 pixles. Just save the pic you wanna use and shrink it down to that size and load it up....

too bad i don't have any photo editing software or the 80x80 would be a snap, i will look around the web for an apropriate avatar and see if i can get it over here.

scott, open it up in the PAINT program, then at the top of the picture, there is a tab called IMAGE, click that and select STRETCH/SCEW, then the first 2 inputs are for a percentage in size for horizantal and vertical, change them both the same amount of you will get an oblong shaped picture. Try something like 50% and 50% and it will shrink the pic by???? 50%, then click Image again and this time select ATTRIBUTES and click on the PIXLES in there and it will show you what size the picture now is in PIXLES, if its still too big, just reduce it a little more until you get it the size you need it with the STRETCH/SKEW thingy again LOL, and if you make it too small in one move, go to EDIT and click UNDO and it will undo your last move.
