Let's start from the beginning, what year and model are you working on? do you have a manual for this ? if so what do they recommend, if not have you tried getting one on line from several of the free download sites, assuming that you have gone through all those steps, what material is this nut made of?,when installing this nut is the pinion shaft already installed or can you put that in from the back after? I'm assuming this is a bearing preload nut, maybe not, hard to tell just from the pic, if it is, it may be a little more difficult as a recommended torque might come into play, if not than there may be several other options, depending on the material, the way it goes together and any torque requirements, you may be able to drill two or four small pilot holes on the face just deep enough to insert spring pins, once the spring pins are installed you can use them as anchors for tightening this nut, anyway hope this helps, never done one of these before but have use this method on other applications.

lets see if I can post this part of a manual for you, sorry tried everything I know how to do to post the page from the manual, to many KB, anyway I think the tool # you need is Lock Nut Wrench, 30 X 64mm, # 07916-MB00002, got this from a 2003 Rincon Manual
let me know if you need anything else, you may have to pm me as I am mostly always looking at the POPO area
