Any of you guys tried this Rye yet? I know we got a lot of Rye drinkers in Canada, its what we do LOL.

I tried it last night, only a sip, but WOW, very smooth and kind of a sweet taste to it with Coke. I think its made in Grimsby Ontario.

Hey Paul this is the only Rye I drink. It has won awards over Crown Royal it is smooth. Yes it is made in Grimsby at Kitling Ridge. You can get it in some LCBO's.

I'll have to give it a try. If it's better than Crown, my liver might not like me anymore :)

I too have heard it beats crown, and no offence to any of the crown fans out there, but there are a lot of better rye's to choose from over crown. I usually buy Gibsons or Weisers if I'm gonna buy a good bottle, other than that, its usually a $15 - 60 pounder from over the border LOL.

Also at the duty free if you were away long enough, they have a CC black label, its great, but its also 100 proof ;)

As a long time fan of Gibsons Finest Sterling I have made the switch to 40 creek as my new "favorite" Rye...Crown is ....:puke:

If you ever get a chance to try Old Whiskey River is nice to but alas not available in Canada.

I agree with you on the crown smily you posted LOL, and yes Gibsons anything is excellent. I will chave to pick up a bottle of this 40 creek rather than just the little sip I had to taste it. Even in that little sip I could tell I will enjoy it ;)

Never tried this one, Gibson's is usually what I would by for rye. Mostly now, I like Bourbon.
