Hi all, decided not to browse from the shadows anymore. Only a few times! There's some seriously modified Sportsmans here! Definetly came learn some things. Bought it new in 2002, first ATV. Added wheels and tires, and now it's another money pit, like the other toys!
FYI, in NH it's a $10,000. fine to ride through wet lands! Want some tree huggers for your state, we have extras!

Welcome to the forum!

Ya mostly, Private Property your supposed to have written permission from the land owner, I tow a file cabinet behind me. Plenty more idiotic laws on the books! There's some real good riding on some of the power line right of ways, but, not supposed to be on those ether, go figure! A few ATV Clubs have some good areas. The state has opened a large atv park up north, property used to belong to paper mills. Hopefully check that out this year. Few other state trails, most of those you can ride a stock 2x4 bike through. Signs everywhere stay on the trail, don't go on wet lands, global warming, bla bla bla. We can ride on some of the snowmobile train in the winter, when the ground starts to show the gate are closed!

Not sure how to put in another quote!!
Hey, 800Stealth maybe we can hook up our groups for a ride some time?

Yeah, always looking to get a big group together. I hear what your saying about the wetland law but it's realy up to the ranger that bags you. I got caught in Clought state park seat deep in the mud next to a bridge, I had my winch cable wrapped around a tree with mud flying everywhere when the ranger walked up. He was pretty cool, he read me the riot act and then started asking about my quad, we talked for a while and he sent me on my way with a smile and a wave. The new riding area up north in Berlin is Jericoh mountain, that's about 40 miles south of the Mead paper lands in Errol. Both are great, probably the best riding in the state. I'll post next time we will be headed out some where. It'll probably be a little while, most of my riding buddies ride sport quads and avoid the snow.
