Where did you get the grips?

Ebay. They were pretty cheap and are a big relief on my hands from the stockers.

Since this is a sticky showing off one of Pauls great products, here's more pics of his bar ends that I got yesterday. I just had to take an xacto knife and cut a hole in the ends of the grips for his fitting to properly snug up against the bar.
Thanks Paul!!!

LMFAO...bearing carrier and spacer that needs to go on AFTER I get around to getting the axle back in. I keep on getting distracted with other stuff around here, but plan on throwing it all back together this weekend.

Rebel why did you put them on upside down?

I like the ends with the Death grips I still think I want some for mine but I think mine would look better red.

Rebel64

What's upside down? You can see the skulls when you're sitting on the bike, and for the ends I wanted the name facing out. I guess it does look kinda strange from the cam view though.

There's a section of rubber hose over a bolt that squeezes into the bar as you tighten up the square hole on the end of the piece. Should have taken a before pic I guess.

I think around $13...not over $15 though.

Sounds pretty self explanatory. Do I just pm Paul to order them and tell him what I want on them?

Yep that's all you have to do...and he'll let you know what he has in stock.
My set was the last black ones he had prior to his vacation, but he did have others, and maybe has even restocked since then.
Then you pick a font and what text you want on them and send the $$ away. :)

I have Red, Blue and plain aluminum in stock, my anodizing connection is very VERY slow so I wont have black for quite a while....

Let me know what you need and I'll let you know the price and if its possible ;)

i got my grips in the other day and will get them on this weekend. just holding them in your hand feels good. almost like a stress toy but alot harder to squeeze. i will post a pic when i get them installed.

here is a pic i took of the hole bike cleaned up. as you can see i cracked my footwell on the last ride so if anyone has a good one or knows where i can find one for cheap let me know. ridgerunner has them for 65 but i will wait to see if i can find one cheaper.

I just put on a set of OURY grips to replace the original Polaris ones. Of course I have a set of Paul's custom bar ends. I'll try and get some pictures taken soon. Stephen, you might want to think about a set of footwell skid plates. I had a guy fab some up for my X2 out of stainless. So far they're working pretty good.

OnlyPolaris
04-27-2008, 10:32 PM
ya i might have to look into those. they might make my bike to wide though. there are some pretty tight spots. this is the first one i have cracked sinse i bought it.

x2rider
04-27-2008, 10:44 PM
I think you'd be alright. Mine fit pretty tight next to the outside edge of the footwell. My tires are wider than the plates. I was worried about mud and sticks getting clumped up in between the skid and footwell, but they clean out pretty well.

Sorry about the upside down thing Rebel, it's hard to make out where your bike is facing with it all black! I like the looks of the Death Grips and the RD bar ends. I hope to get some one day but really want a red set (red not the funny looking red).
