Hey folks how are you doing ? my name is Doug dowling and my good friend is
froogal he told me about this site.looks like lots of good tech info and stuff.
dont have a atv as yet , but working on it . i have listed my HD sporster on here for sale or trade , also have my kids go Kart for sale to.anyone intrested get back to me. well look forward to talking to all of you thanks.

I might recommend an X2 actually, it's a bit more money but the extra wheel base length gives you more stability in mud or on trails, plus you have an extra seat for that hunny when she wants to ride with you.
As for the 500/800 debate, the 800 will spin bigger tires and go a bit faster on flat trails, but other than that there's not much advantage. In the mud pits, the 800s weren't any faster than the 500s.

you wouldn't believe the number of hondas I saw stuck.
I could also smell them coming. I could literally close my eyes and tell you whenever a honda passed by the smell of burning oil from the exhaust.

I grew up with a honda on the farm. Then i started riding Polaris. After a few months of that I went back home and rode my parent's honda again. Apparently I had worked hard to remove the bone jarring memories from my mind because I had forgotten how much pain it can cause to the butt and spine.
