This thing came infected with a virus right from the factory. WTF

A friend just bought one of these MP3 players that are on for cheep at Wal-Mart.
She opened it put a battery in it & plugged it into my comp to put some songs on it & as soon as windows XP finished its install etc. my virus scanner comes up with a TROJAN alert on the MP3 player.

Just thought I might warn you all just incase you buy one & your virus software is not up to date.

Link to FREE virus scanner that works real good.

Its possible that its a type of software that looks like adware or a virus that is really not a virus. But hey, it just may be a friggin virus, I'd be pissed....

It came up as a trojan whatever that the scanner knew everything about & i had to format the thing before it would work. It also had 3 songs pre loaded on it, not sure if it should have.. We have one to but have not tried it yet. I will tomorow.

The last couple of MP3's I've bought came with some songs already on them. Just from no-name artists.
