Well, I finally realized that I've gotta have surgery on my rotator cuff. I used to weightlift like Rubberdown and had to quit 5 months ago cause I tore my rotator. After 3 months of rehab, with little results, and after I almost dropped a window A/C unit this weekend cause my shoulder just went out, Ive decided to go ahead with the surgery. My Dr said it was only a matter of time cause it wouldnt get any better. I'm gonna be out of work like 3 months. :faint2: But I've got the time built up. Biggest thing is I cant ride my popo until December. :mad2: Wish me luck. Rudy.

Good luck Rudy, I'm sure you will heal up just fine. Now whats the post surgery prognosis, will you be able to rehab it and then hit the weights again? Maybe talk to your doctor about some rehab along with some HGH to help build up the tissue, muscle and tendon strength, that HGH is supposed to be amazing for stuff like this. Hell ask him to add some testosterone to get more out of the HGH and you will be good as new ;)

Thanks RD. My Doc interned in the NFL and specializes in sports injuries. She said That If I dont get back to 100% I'll get at least to 95%. :high5: She also said that I'll be in a sling with NO movement for 3 weeks then rehab starts. She said 2 months is the normal time to go back to work but since I'm law enforcement she wants me to be off 3. She said I'll be 100% about 4-6 months and I can hit the gym again. :high5: testosterone = goooood

Best of luck Rudy! & try to enjoy the time off.
Just remember not to push your self too hard after you get out of the sling.
My wife pushed it a bit after her surgery & ended up with a visit the hospital again.

Ya, i kinda gotta agree :D
Yea I tore both of my shoulders up one bad, one not too bad, both times on quads biting it going very fast in woods. I hate going seek anything medical so within a week I could lift my arm again and within like 2 years 98% of any pain is gone so I guess something healed, of course at that time I was in fabrication and I never took off for it, I think that helped because I was able to keep it limber and build it back because we worked hard and many positions. when I am 50 I will prolly have to see the doc lol.
