Hi everyone, it is that time of year again, the OVATVC annual Charity Ride for Camp Trillium. This year Can-Am | BRP is co-sponsoring the event with us.

When: September 8th, 2007

Where: 1018 Folger Road, RR#1 Ompah

Time: Registration between 8 – 10 a.m.

Cost: $20 per bike (or at least $20 worth of pledges)

BBQ: Hamburgers $2, hotdogs $1, drinks $1

Who: Anyone with an ATV, open to the public!

We will be doing prize draws, a raffle, and a 50/50 draw during the BBQ…

We are raising money for Camp Trillium. They are a camp for children with cancer, and currently have two locations in Ontario – the closest one being in Picton. They receive no federal or provincial funding, they survive on donations from individuals, groups, and money raised at events like ours. For more info on Camp Trillium please visit: www.camptrillium.com.

A small portion of the proceeds raised that day we intend to donate to the North Frontenac Volunteer Fire Department. 100% of the money is donated to charity/non-profit organizations. Our club does not keep any of the money raised.

For anyone who hasn’t been on the Charity Run before – it is a day to get out for an enjoyable ride with fellow ATV’ers and raise money for a great cause in the process.

Entry fee is $20 per bike or at least $20 worth of pledges. This includes one hotdog or hamburger and one drink at the BBQ, and enters you into our draw for awesome prizes!! Pledge forms can be downloaded from the Ottawa Valley ATV Club website at: www.ovatvc.com

We will not turn away anyone riding two up, but do warn we will have to ride a few km. of road. We will also not turn away any Rhino or Ranger. Participants who ride UTV's or two up do so at their own risk.

I've attached a link to mapquest, but if you need futher directions please let me know.

We have no set limit on how many can attend. We will accomodate all who attend. No passes are required to participate in the event. We have selected routes where no passes are necessary.

If you have any questions or would like a pledge form, please contact Patsy Bradley at cpbradley@sympatico.ca or by phone at 613-229-9254 (cell).

Thanks, and hope to see you on September 8th!!
