Well somebody went and asked where to get a good 2" lift from over on the HL forums. Guess who's getting recomended and who's not? Also, I think someones feelings got hurt in the process. I don't need a lift kit yet... but who nows what the future holds and I know which one I''ll get, RubberDown Lift handsdown.

I tried to PM the guy that asked but HL had DISABLED ALL PMs in that thread.
I think some of the other members on here gave him the link before I tried.
Don’t even type Rubberdown in a PM on HL as all their PMs are edited to wipe his name before it is sent. You need to be creative with your spelling to get your MSG through.

Dont be sorry!

Its this kind of stuff that should be voiced on a forum.

If its a good product then say so, if its not tell us all why not.

High lifter employees got a bit bent out of shap and that post. I think they, as in HL, are starting to lose alot of repect.

You cant say Mud Bitch on HL either now.

Dont forget the EDL but nothing does compare to the Outlaw

none of those tires come in anything bigger than a 28, and a few of them dont come any bigger than a 27....

thats kiddy sizes!!!

the zillas now come in 30's dont they???

I can honestly say though (and again, I'm being honest with my opinion) the outlaw is one mean ass mud tire and is un-beatable as a mud tire. I'd buy them myself if they werent so rediculous with all this anti "ME" stuff right now, but oh well.....

oh yeah... the zillas do come in 30's now. if they are released to the public yet?

but its only in a 14". im not buying new wheels just to get some 30's.

if im asked, no matter where or what forums im on, ill tell people my opinion. lift, tires, wheels or whatever.

if somebody asked me on these forums if RD's xxxx was worth buying, i would tell them exactly what i thought, good or bad.

i would think RD would see what people were saying and instead of banning them for stating their opinion he would look at his own product and say "what can i do to improve my xxxx so when somebody ask about it, there should only be postitve comments."

Exactly, I am a consumer just like everyone else out there, and if someone wont let a person get all the info they need before they spend there money, then thats a problem in my books. If theres a way for me to improve, why wouldnt I try to....

the tact they chose on that thread was way off, I know if I was HL I would be trying my damnest to come up with something better, surely they have the resources. Not a doubt in my mind that something is screwy when the superpower is getting put to from just one guy. A reputation is something you have to build yourself, not buy or force upon people, I think they f-ed theirs up and are trying to force it around. I see where the HL guy's reply was coming from in the thread, but def on the wrong terms or something, and should have waited to watch a couple posts, or posted a link to their lift. Customer's opinions speak louder than advertising hence like 95% of my business locally. I figure if one of their satisfied customers didn't speak up sooner then thats their own problem, not the guy that was sending pm's not rd, not nobody but HL and their customer relations.

I posted today about Tire Balls for a guy who was concerned about flats & was "ASKED" to pull my link because it was competition for their Air Lock tire sealant.
The balls are nothing like sealant, yes they prevent flats but it’s a whole different concept.

I was actually surprised that I was asked to pull my link. They usually just kill it for you.

So if they sell something for everything (which they pretty much do) are you never supposed to steer people to anything unless it is specifically sold on their on-line store by them?
