i have a lot to say so bare with me... :typing: first off polaris700 your bike looks way better in person the pics dont do it justice. second rd i thought your sig was wrong but now that i see your bike i got to ask where did you find 15" wheels and tires??? and third sportsman70003 damn !!!! i like the transformation and the color and oh ya the chrome. well thats all i got to say about that...

LOL, ya I get lots of people asking me "Where in the hell did you get 15's?" :D

They came as a set with the Titan 589s already mounted. They were a gift from Peter Vandenburg, the owner and producer of All Terrain Television. I would imagine he got them from Titan mounted like that when they sent him some 26" 589's for our "mud tire shootout" serious last season on the show. These ones are labeled in a different way, kinda like a car I think if I remember correctly, but they measured out at about 27-1/2" tall.

thats cool rd, one of a kind, kinda and thats a very sharp popo you got there too. i love my 27" titan 589's they are great tires i'm going to upgrade to 28's soon though.

Prolly hard to find time helping all of us newbs huh???So how much time do you have in each lift RD after you get the first 2 built??

Rubberdown
08-24-2007, 12:35 AM
Thats kind of a hard question. Different lifts get different parts made in my shop where I work as an actual customer job that I pay to have made, but every kit has something made hands on with old school machines by me after hours or at lunch time or even during my 15 minute breaks if I think it will get me home sooner at the end of the day.

All of my wheel spacers are made by me persoanly on a manual lathe and manual milling machine except for 1 set a while ago that my buddy did CNC for me because he was bored and wanted to show off at how easy it was for him. For example, i spent 4 hours tonight at the shop turning up 8 wheel spacers, tomorrow night I have to drill and counter bore all the holes, thats 8 drilled holes and 8 counter bored holes in each spacer, then I take them over to the bearing press and press in all the studs. So thewy are pretty time consuming but I like to look at them when they are done, they look pretty nice if I do say so myself :D

All of my Honda Rincon kits are made by me persoanly right now frommthe picking up of the steel, cutting it to length, milling everything and black oxciding them and each kit takes a few hours + materials, but if it continues to take off, I'll have no other choice but to run that through the shop as a paying customer as well because I really just dont have enough hours in the day to do everything. BUT, thats a good thing, that means things are busy and I am selling more and more stuff right, so I will happily bust my ass to make this thing grow to the point that I design it, make the prototypes, make the first 10 or so kits or items and then turn it over to the CNC programmers that work at the shop and at the same time, make sure my boss is making a little profit as well since its all his equipment i use to make all this stuff.

Some how I missed this post.

But to answer your question I have not got it tuned in good enough to hit the nitrous yet. I just got my exhaust back from getting it coated and have built a plenum for it. I got to start it yesterday and see how it did with the new plenum box and it sounds really good. Hopefully I'll get to ride it later today if I get the time. Heres a video of what it sounded like yesterday. http://media.putfile.com/Turbo-tuning-2
