Here is my ride!.....lol.....actually it is not my ride, but I couldn't resist posting this pic ...it is a Kawasaki BF 750 that went over a cliff.
don't mean to come off rue but its not a BF 750. you can see by looking at the front steering set-up, the shock and also by the sticker on the front shroud. its a BF 650 SRA.

You are probably right, this pic was sent to a while ago with a little write up on what happened, I do know the guy did not get hurt in the accident, I always assumed it was a 750....I stand corrected

thanks, yeah im trying to expaned out to new forms, sorry to say im a big kawieriders.com form member, been nocking on HL since most riders over there have no clue anymore on how to build a good machine to do more then just mud. as you can see my machine is not stock, but its not major. it still has a stock internal engine, all bolt on power upgrades. soon 730cc wit stage 2 fst cams.
and i dont listen to them much anymore, you will find me on kawie forms alot.

nice pics man.....
How you like that V-Force John clutch mod???
kvf700_franklin
11-12-2008, 08:14 PM
the VFJ clutch mods are the best money you could ever spend.
the primary mod i got is stage 3 spider mod. i would say its the best mod i have ever done.
the lighter secondary hasnt been tested out yet on my machine but is in the works. its half a pound lighter. witch means less rotating mass, witch means more power to the wheels. but heres the kicker, it might explode UNDER high stress from the larger mud tires. as john does this mod for drag only machines and GNCC machines running 25" tires.
so im putting it to the real test of stress. im thinking with my teryx gear swap the stress load should be lighter and everything should be just fine.

Yes, I could see a lighter and maybe thinner secondary not liking big tires... There is already alot of stress going on in there as well as heat..
Will be interestng to see your results of it....
My brother I am sure will be interested in any info on it to hear...
I have heard nothing but positive things on that VFJ mod for sure.. 650Brute is over on alot of the Kawi sites there and has been doing alot of reading and talking about it so he is prolly wanting to do it..
kvf700_franklin
11-12-2008, 08:59 PM
let me just say VFJohn knows his stuff. if your brother is looking into a VFJ clutch mod, for the 650 i know john will tell him stage 2. unless he has some motor work then stage 3spider mod.
torkmonster
11-12-2008, 09:01 PM
No motor work on it..
Rejetted and piped and snorkles is about all he has done to it so far.....

yeah, john is a very busy man, but he gets the work done in a fast amount of time,
he is making my spare secondary lighter so i can test how well it will hold up to mud bogging as its for drag racing and hard core trail riding with 25" tires.
