I found these two possible mods for the CV carbed Sportsmans.
I was hoping the experts would chime in & tell me it they will work or not

Thunderslide jet kit for CV carb.
# Designed for engines with stock or aftermarket air filter and exhaust system
# Revolutionary composite plastic slide provides unparalleled performance gains in both horsepower and mileage
# Unique set of lift holes moderate how the slide moves with respect to throttle position; the faster the slide opens the quicker the throttle response
# Kit also includes jets, needles, clips and other necessary parts for CV carbs
The kit looks to have a drill for i assume drilling the carb like the AC guys do. Does this mod work on a popo? I have never seen someone with it done.

Holtzman CV Carb Slide Springs
We have found some "easy" horsepower in these slide springs, specifically designed for three altitude ranges and inlets (stock or modified air box or carb filters) for the Yamaha RX-1 snowmobile. Improved throttle response and up to a 1000 RPM increase results from the use of these springs. A set of four springs come in a convenient carrying tube .
Royaldistrubting list them for ATV use as well but they cant tell me what ones to use.
