I usually run Royal Purple 10w40 Max Cycle oil in my bike. It helps it run a bit cooler but i still overheat.
I have used Lucas & Energy Release in my bike with no problems but also no performance gains i could notice.
I dont use anything with thr RP oil.

Same here,i'm curious enough to give a try next oil change.

I run Mobil 1 0W-40 it only takes 2 leters, I change it every 50 hours, if you are running a synthetic oil why would you run any additives.

Good point i'm running the mobil 1 0W-40 also.Think i'll stick with a good thing and save my money.

So....
I did some searching on the net and could not find anything good about Slick 50. I think that I will stick with changing my oil every 50 hours.
There are some good articles about oil weights though. One site actually stated the W stands for winter not weight. The first number stands for how well the oil flows in cold temperatures, and the second number stands for how well the oil stays thick at high temperatures.

I would think if you run your bike in the winter you may want to run 0W40 in it as it is a little thinner for cold starts. JMO though.

Here's a good link explaining motor oil viscosity grades - http://www.upmpg.com/tech_articles/motoroil_viscosity/index.html

i was a bit concerned as well but i cant tell any difference between 0w40 & 10w40 in the winter. I have started the bike at -30 with both oils & its just as easy.

-30?? Is your rad blowing directly at you! LOL
I was just going by what I have been reading online. I think that 0W is rated to -30 and 10W is rated to -20. Who knows.
