Why not put the HL springs in the "FOR SALE" forum and try to sell them, then buy you some EPI springs?

I wouldnt think so, but going back to the age of my machine, they were different on the 700's than on the 500's, much stiffer on the 700's. You could call up your dealer and ask him if its the same part #, it might be now that polaris has suck shitty stock springs across the board now....

The part numbers are different from a 2005 500 and a 2005 700 so I would say the springs are different in SOME kind of way. Now...... just because they are different part numbers doesn't mean they won't work. The only difference could be the spring tension, the number of coils, the dieameter size of the spring, but then it could be as simple as a different color. Some of the twin springs were red and the ones on my 500's are black. I would just call your dealer and ask him if the springs that guy has will fit on your bike, they SHOULD be able to tell you.

You need the front lift the for the Ranger then.
My Ranger springs wont fit the standard lift either but i just made a 1" spacer with no cup & its working fine.
Why not just cut the lip off the spacer & use it that way. No point in wasthin a good set of HL springs when the mod to the lift is simple. 20 min with a hacksaw & a grinder & you are done, or a local machine shop could spin them off in a lathe in like 5 min or less.
Here is what mine look like. Not as nice as RDs but they still work.
