My HSP exhaust.

its just too loud for me. and even with repacking it trying to get it really quiet... its still LOUD. best sounding pipe ive ever heard for a polaris. ive had several but this one was the best. i just need something quieter.

nope. it ran just the same with it as it did stock.

well.....it ran a bit better with the HSP to be honest. just really loud.

do you know if it is the same part number as the 500. i would be interested but i want to make sure it will work on my 500. i know it will bolt right up but will the back pressure and so on be the same on yours as to if i bought the one for the 500 from hsp. also does the exhaust echo off your bumper or does it miss it. oh and does your sway bar hit it.

everybody tells me the 500-800 are the exact same exhaust. i dont believe this pipe would mean much difference in back pressure between a 500-700. i know the older 500's used a different type of pipe but from 03 or so and up are the same as a 400-800.

no, it has the turn down tip on it. so it does not blow directly out into the bumper.


oh and does your sway bar hit it.

nope. not even close.

check the video. you can see how it mounts. its a little smaller in doam than the stock so it has more clearance than the stock one.

I am surprised that you are selling.it. It's reallly not that loud or we have gotten used to it. But of course, I'm not the one sitting on it, either in front or behind you.

when we got done after a day of riding my ears would be ringing.......

thats how loud it was to me. but then again my ears are super sensitive. since i started wearing earplugs at work, my hearing has really improved.


plus it was so loud i couldnt hear my new stereo :rockon:

yes. you can change it if you want.

i tried adding more packing but i dont think it made it any quieter.

heres a few more.

for some reason the tabs on the back of the muffler look like they are broke off in the picture but they are not. guess its the way the camera took it. it also looks pretty dirty but the can is actually polished aluminum and will look alot better with a good washing.
