I guess saturday and/or sunday will be better for everybody??? I plan on riding both days myself. Be me, Mudqueen, 650Brute(?), jasonch, mattdtru and anyone else that wants to come out.. I got a coupe from over at aurorawheelers that are gonna come and a couple Wilson creek riders coming...

Wilson seems a little more moderate than soldier in spots.... but you can ride wilson to mayfield creek and get in and ride all of it, its quite a bit deeper..
I havent been down mayfield yet this year, but last year it was around rack deep the whole way bank to bank there..... In the places I rode it at....

Damn that thing is a pain to do though... Although I have a little more knowledge of it now than the first time I and DAD attempted it....

A litle tip on intallation, On that touring, I didnt cut into the grip at all and they looked ALOT better than the 700 when I DID cut the grip back a little.....
there is a lil hole there and I just pulled and stretched and pushed till it went through, I like them to sit over the bar end just a bit though....

just to let ya'll know, my wheeler is not as nice as ya'lls. It's been rode hard, and there is a special technique to start it. (like tapping the starter with a hitch pin). but it will give ya'll something to laugh at

Yeah, mine was just the needle bearings in the starter... Now I've got TWO with bad needle bearings!!!! The rest of starter is GOOD... Pisses me off really.. Most people talk about brushes wearing out!! I can't even come CLOSE to the brushes wearing out!!!!!
The needle bearings are in like this "CAGE" and it falls apart which in turn, makes the bearings fall out and then binds up the starter!!!! Tap it and sometimes it will spin...
Glad to have a good one on the way for sure.. There is NO recoil starter on that popo.... Only the starter!!
