Have any of you ever used one of these lights go on top of your truck? I got mine a few years ago and love it. It's amde by "GO LIGHT" and has a magnetic base to hold it in place and the one that I have has a cordless remote. It's somewhere around 250,000 candlepower so its as bight as a spotlight. Just though some of you may be interested if you haven't seen them before. This is the only pic that I can find with a decent shot of it.

Yeah and it also helps when tying down the Rincon at night. It pans all the way around and rotates up and down. It will shoot straight up and will shine straight down to the ground. I used it one night to change a tire. It didn't light up the lug nuts alot but I could see them and more importantly I could find them on the ground when I took them off.
I'm a freak about lights b/c I can't stand not to see what's going on. I did use it for night hunting last year but we had a permit b/c of the crop loss on the land that we own. The farmer that was leasing it was getting his peanuts pulled up by the deer and he asked me if I could help him out. After we shot a few deer they got to where they weren't as bad. Heck then they started hitting our food plots and it made for an excellent hunting season!

get caught with that on/in your truck in the woods around here and you can loose the light...and your truck.
game wardens dont look too kindly upon that.
had a friend loose everything because they were out spotlighting deer and the guy had a pistol in the glove box of the truck. even though it was only a pistol they got him for night hunting. lost the truck and everything and also his ability to buy a hunting license, to hunt or own/carry a weapon for 5 years. plus he paid out the wazoo in fines. but luckly he avoided jail time because the judge let him off.

Dude I know all about night hunting. I got caught three times when I was in high school and had a hard time learning my lesson. It cost me alot of money but I had a blst doing it. I remember once we were caught with 6 deer from 2 different counties. I did have permission to hunt all of this land but you know by law not at night. I can't stand it any more but I still do it on occasion. I even have farmers contacting me about getting a permit to help them control their crops. Learned alot when I was young, but I learned my lesson too (the hard way)!

good by truck. confiscate it. just like when they take it if your running drugs.
probably was turned into a game wardens truck. like they do with drug cars. paint them up and turn them into police cars.... just to add salt to the wound.
