I just have to give some official props to Mr. Daniel Turner.
This guy has continued to give me AWESOME customer service in the past year that I've had his axles, and has taken care of me in a most efficient manner to lessen my downtime.

He's got pretty customer service. He takes the time to talk to you and tell you what would be the best step up for your bike. There are too many places that will just sell you stuff cause that's what you want, but it might not be whats best. I like that he'll make a recommendation to try and give you the best set up possible.

I like that too, i try to help out my customers that way as well when they arent sure about something. No sence in selling you something thats sure to not do what you want it to do right...

WOW, I am sooo impressed with these guys. I have been dealing with Jeremy at Turner Cycles and he has called me a few times just to make sur eI got my axles, to make sure they went into the machine okay, and he even called me today knowing I was away testing them this past weekend to ask how they worked out.
So heres my report on the rear Turners I now have. I put about 10 miles on them slowly trying to break them in, just up and back on the roadway, heating them up and letting them cool. This was throughout the evening prior to our first 50 mile day ride. We took off in the morning and it was a fast ride, mostly logging roads or higher speed trails averaging 20 to 30mph non stop. After about 10 miles, I got off and checked and all seemed good. I did however see some greese right near the band on the outer right CV but I couldnt feel a tear or hole anywhere so I figured it is just seeping past the clamp. We rode the rest of the day, and the next day, same style of riding, mostly higher speeds and rarely dipping into a mud hole and all the boots stayed together and the joints never failed and the axles styed in the tranny. I am completely happy I called these guys and I would reccomend them to anyone in a heart beat. When I spoke to Jeremy on the phone today (him calling me to check up on the axles) I told him about the greese on the right outer joint and told him I would look at it when I have some time, he said to just let him know what I find and if they need to do anything, I'm sure they will take good care of it.
Thanks Turner Cycles!!!

That's great news Paul! :)
I need to call Jeremy back so thanks for the reminder. He called me on Fri or Sat and left a voice mail asking if everything is going ok with the newly rebuilt axle I just got back early last week. They really do take great care of their customers.

Unless I was at fault GORILLA would definantly know my name or if it came to it my LAWYERS name... If they owed me axles or money that COMPANY would be giving it....
Ain't no big time company like that gonna be stealing my money nor my axles

Turner all the way. I destroyed one of my front axles Friday night riding in Mauriceville,TX and I'm mailing it to them at lunch today. I called them Saturday and Daniel said it would probably take a day or two for them to fix it and they'd mail it right back. I doubt Gorilla will ever see any of my money, I like Turners products. Plus it's nice to support someone that is somewhat of a local business to Beaumont.

so is people breaking turners with only a bracket lift?? id hate to see what they could be in a custom lift...even though gorilla aint much better

You have to do alot to get a Turner axle to break.....I put my bike through the ringer that night. It was just the right combination of the hole I was in, the angle of the front right tire and the way we were trying to get it out. I stand behind Turners products 100%. I'd settle for nothing less. Plus they have excellent customer service. I sent the axle yesterday UPS, they received it today, should have it fixed today or tomorrow and they'll send it back so I'll have it in my bike for the weekend to go riding. Granted I only live an hour and a half away so it only takes one day for shipping/delivery, but thats a hell of a turn around time I think.

in a custom lift...
Don't the custom lifts come with a-arms and all.. Changes the suspension, and some I have seen the angle of the axles is almost stock...... I know the catvos for the can-ams, the angle of the axles is stock or just barely over... I thought the whole reason to get the lifts like that was not only to get higher but for the axles???? Keep them at a relatively nice angle.... Just the ones I have seen keep the axles betterangles than any bracket lift..... IMO... Especially with a 3 in bracket.....
ya thats true to an extent...but with my 2in lift i broke one axle in over a year...but since this extended lift ive broken 3 rear inner joints in 3 rides...i think them being wider makes them in more of a bind when in a hole
im not dissing turners at all...actually thinking about slapping a set in the rear of my gorilla lift. they cant be no worse then gorilla...lol
torkmonster

Lol... Yeah, I just always figured since they are less angle on say the gorilla lifts "extended lifts' as you said, that they would be less stress on them.... Maybe your on to something with the them being wider????? I dunno....

CV's DEFINANTLY better if running ANY kind of lift and especially with lift AND tires..
Believe me I KNOW!!!!

you are right about the can-am lifts though...buddy called scott and asked him about how the axles hold up...since the gorilla lifts eats axles (me and a buddy have twin polaris') scott said that as long as you keep the axles under 34 degrees (i think thats the number) you shouldnt have a problem with overheating and breaking

Cool man, yeah I haven't looked too hard at the gorilla for the popo's... I just thought they were all ABOUT the same as far as setup and axle angles on like the 6 inch lifts and such....
Hell, the only popo I have lifted was my 04.5 700 and it being 04.5, it had those dang U-Joints on the front inners... and me I didn't buy any aftermarket axles (lack of money) so the first thing that happened with the 2 in. lift and 27" 589's, Broke U-Joint....
I guess those joints are good for fairly straight angles but not for lifts and such!!! Especially after 4 years of use and abuse..... LOL!!!
lol i seen quite a few of them u joints pop before...i think thats one reason polaris had a bad name about breaking so much...when mine gets out the shop ill take some pics of the rear of my bike with the rear rzrs for conversation sake...you'll understand why they have been breaking then...lol
i am taking my 29fives off and getting a set of 28x9.5 outlaws and swapping over to front rzrs (hl sent me the wrong springs when i ordered" to help relieve some of the stress
