Check it out yall, this is the newest mod to my bike. FRONT GORILLA AXLES. I found a steal on them on ebay and couldn't pass them up. Brand new, never used or ever been put on the bike. I KNOW the warranty ain't transferable but I did get the receipt and the guy agreed that if something does happen to them he will do the warranty process since they are originally in his name. He only lives about 70 miles from me so I went and picked them up last Thursday night, just gotta get time to take the struts back off and grind ALOT more off them and put them on, they still have 5 months of warranty left on them. The best price I found on them was $329.99 with free shipping from Yasky on ebay, I got these for $228.00 each so I couldn't pass them up. It was money I was gonna spend on my plasma cutter but I sacrificed and got axles instead, now I'm looking for a used plasma cutter instead of new. The only thing that disappointed me was the axle bar itself is the same exact size in diameter as the stock Polaris axle, 15/16", not that I've ever had problems with the axle bars I just "thought" the Gorillas had larger bars than the stock. Regardless, I'm happy with what I paid for them. Here is a pic of the two side by side. So now I get to POUND on this Rubber Down 3" lift and not worry about my axles. What yall think ????

And here is a shot of one sitting on the floor next to a stock Polaris axle.

It is not the diameter that matters. It is the material. different alloy. They don't keep close track of who bought them. They make small changes to the ends and that is how they tell how old they are.

Damn good price for brand new Gorillas. You got lucky to find those. I love mine. I don't have to worry about snapping another stocker now.

Oh yeah. My Gorillas are quite a bit bigger in diameter than my stockers were. Maybe they are different for each brand of ATV or something.

Lookin good buddy, as for the diameters, if I'm not mistaken, I think all the makes and models I have seen, the popo's easily have the biggest axle shafts out there.

BigDog, I know it's not the diameter that matters. I just "thought" the bars were thicker in diameter. I'm pretty sure they are a different diameter for Hondas and Kawis, maybe that's where I got the "idea" they were a thicker diameter bar. That's good to know on the warranty deal, although I haven't broke a stock axle so I don't anticipate breaking these but ya never know.

Rincon, this will definitely ease the mind knowing a got these axles. I ride the hell out of my bike but I go pretty easy on the throttle in the mud holes just because a 3" lift and stock axles don't get along very well.
