OK, the water wetter stuff was recommended to me by a buddy saying that I should help my ATV. Any of you guys use this stuff? Any thoughts on it? I googled it and found the stuff from DEI that looks good too. Thanks for the help guys.

I put some stuff in after the rad relocate (red liquid) and the fan still runs a lot on mine.

I used to have water wetter in mine a long time ago, I'd use it again if I could just remember to pick some up LOL.

i think the water wetter works great. we went on a ride last weekend. i was the only one going through any serious mud. i was also the only polaris out of 5 not to over heat.

I played in the mud yesterday on our club ride. Some Boys from Texas who are up doing pipeline work "dragged" me into the mudhole!!! funny thing is both the Texans had brand new Can Am 800s and both ended up getting stuck. My Popo did not. I have to put all of my thanks to Paul's 2" lift for that one!!! Those boys had me out gunned with those 800s...but they didn't have the clearence!!! Unfurtunately my fan got gummed up. I had to get her going by hand and then let her cool down for awhile. I know, I know, move the RAD!!! I just can't bring myself to do it yet.

I have used the water wetter in our race car 15 years ago when we raced, I have never used it in my four wheeler, although we had great success with it in the race car.

Mark, you and Ryan got me worried or thinking about yalls bike, both yall say the fan runs more than normal and after relocating that radiator, it ought to run about half what it use to. Something just ain't right, yalls radiator fans should not run that often. Hmmmmmmm.

Since I raised my radiator...I haven't had any problems with just regular Honda coolant.
We rode most of the day Saturday...and my fan ran for a total of less than about a minute.

I have used it a few times. Fan still comes on but it does seam to help some.
I ran plain water with water wetter & that is better than 50/50 with water wetter.

Best thing i did was get a new fan LOL
Old fan was turning about 50% slower because the bearings were FUBAR.

This is the stuff i want to try once i get the temp gauge hooked up.

Riv,
Did you just put in a new stock fan, or get something else?

I'll figure it out at some point. It did ok this weekend. The fan runs alot but it never overheats. I have that dent in mine that might be causing it. Ny buddy Scott's almost never runs since he got that bracket from you so who knows.

It's got me baffled too. Never get a hot warning, but had it spew out of the bottle when we were in Coulterville for that vets ride.

Riv,
Did you just put in a new stock fan, or get something else?

I just ordered a regular 11" SPAL fan fron The Fan Man. Pulled the motor out & put it back in my housing with my fan blade on it. The one you get is not the same. Had to splice my plug on to the new fan but it only takes 10 min. to do it right & i saved a bundle this way.

Next time i will order the Hi output one & see how it does.
Here is the link & a pic of the fan i got.
Almost 100% sure this is the one i got. From what i can tell all the fans from 6.5 " & up are the same size but i dont know how much power they have so i got the 11" one to be safe.
