How about everyone tell how long they have been riding and what ATVs have you owned in the past up to the present.

I have been riding now for about 3 1/2 years. I had a 2004 Honda Rancher 350 and I currently own two 2005 Honda Rincons. I sold my Rancher last year and wish I had never got rid of it. It had to have a top end rebuild at 700 miles so I let it go to my buddy.

Started riding seriously in 2000, now it has fallen by the wayside since it became my job, quads I have owned:
2 Trailblazer 250
2 Warriors
3 King Quads or LT4WD's
Sport 400L (still have)
PW80
Mojave with 350X engine (still have but soon going)
Honda CA110 Sport 50 (in restoration)
Honda Z50 (in restoration)
ATC250SX
250X
Banshee

I think thats most of them, and what I have left is from the wheeling and dealing, haven't been in that seriously for like 3 years. Most of those quads I rode for awhile then sold. I want to find a junker Polaris Ranger 500 to rebuild and a 80-82? CB750 along with a couple other 50cc hondas, I really think I missed about 2 quads or bikes, there was a few parts machines on top of that figure

I started riding in December 05, never been on an ATV in my life before then. I started out on a Honda Recon 250. I rode it in the yard for 2 weeks before Boilermaker took me out on the trails. On the first day out, I tipped it over in a rut, the guys said I was going too slow.
2 months with the Recon and I moved up to a 2x4 Arctic Cat 400. I loved the Cat but wanted a 4x4 to keep up with the guys. In May 06 I got a 4x4 Polaris 500. Now that was a good ATV, never had one problem out of it. In March 07, Boilermaker wanted a new ride, so we both got the Grizzly 700's. We picked them up 2 weeks before Mud Nats.

Yeah, they both have it and it's really easy on my arms and shoulders after a full day out riding. But in diff lock, it steers like a tank.

first ever toy was a 1985 KX 80 when I was 14, bought it myself (cheap parents I guess LOL). Rode that for a couple years and sold it.

Next was a 1981 YZ250 that I took from someone that owed me $500, rode that for a couple summers and sold that.

Didnt ride anything for years and years, then my buddy invited me to go up north for an ATV weekend and he let me borrow his 2001 Scrambler 400 2 stroker. It was the forst time I had ever rode an ATV and about 1 hour into the first days ride, I looped it COMPLETELY UPSIDE DOWN :D I mean on my back, tires parralel to the ground but towards the sky, feet still on both floor boards, and both hands still on the grips and it just sat there for a few seconds. I sprained the shit out of my wrist since my elbows were pined to the ground. I was actually in the middle of a line of about 20 atv's and I was riding behind a 12 year old girl that was riding a 500 popo 6x6 and I tried to follow her up this itty bitty hill all of about 4 feet high and I guess I just goosed it trying to not get stuck on this 2 wheel drive peppy little bugger and up and over just like that. It was that very day that I earned the name rubberdown from all the people we were with and it stuck with me.

Now even though I got hurt and looked like an ass, as soon as I got home, I looked and looked for an ATV.

So I bought a 2000 sportsman 500 and it was a POS, it had almost 5000 miles on it and it blew smoke like you wouldnt believe. I ended up trading it in on a brand new 2004.5 500HO and then I bought the wife a 2003 magnum 330 4x4 and it too ended up being a lemon, so I traded that in on a new 04.5 400 sportsman. I also bought the kit a 1985 honda TRX 125 but at 7 and 8 years of age, she couldnt grasp the whole shifting thing and I had to sell it.

Thats me in a nut shell.

I had a Banshee back in the early 90's for about a month, almost killed myself a bunch of times and got rid of it. Last fall I thought it would be fun to relive the whole almost killed my self thing and got the biggest, baddest wheeler I could find, an 800 Sportsman. It's not as fast as the old Banshee, but seems to be almost as dangerous LOL...

I started out in the early 1980's with a Honda 200M ATC. Traded up to a Honda 250R ATC then to a Honda 200X ATC. Life changed and hunting took over as my passion. In 2000 I got a Yamaha BearTracker 200 ATV from my father-in-law. Started back riding in the off seasons and in 2004 got my present ride a 2004 Polaris SP700. Now I ride and hardly hunt. I'm starting to look into the 2-ups so my wife can join me. She says she would feel more comfortable riding along with me, than trying to drive one on her own and try to site see.

I grew up on a farm, the frist ATV we had as a 85 honda 250 2wd fourtrax. That fell apart in the late 90's, so the next one we got was a 98 300 4wd fourtrax. A great ATV, my parents still have it. I never rode ATVs recreationally growing up, it was merely for running around the farm, doign real work. In jan 06 I got a job which exposed me to recreational ATV riding pretty hardcore, and I've been doing it ever since. Last winter I bought myself an 07 Sportsman X2 500. Being only a 500, and with the longer wheel base, makes it a not so great mudding machine, but I love it for trail riding. Once I got some money saved up I plan to get myself a used 800, then fully mod it for mudding.

Me, it was the Honda Trail 90, I was about 10, then my parents bought the first "Big Red" :bounce: no suspension except for the tires. Got out of the ATVing for awhile, into Snowmobiling. 4 years ago, bought a 500 Popo, then tried out a friend's twin, fell in love and bought the 800. Love the sport and ride as much as I can. :thumb:

As in you wont be riding any more or you feel it will last you forever, or it will be your last outlander and you will switch to something else?????????????????
