View Full Version : Who has mudzillas
I was wanting to know what people think of the mudzillas for a mud/trail tire.
I love to ride in the mud but dont do it to much because I get stuck in the smallest holes with my half bald stock tires. Or if anyone has other tires that they think I should look at please let me know.
Mudzillas are good mud tires. Not to great on the trails. I had 27's on my old Rincon and they did great in the mud. They wear like iron but are very heavy so you will lose some power adding Mudzillas.
Are you looking for a PURE mud tire or a mud/trail tire?? If you ride alot of trails you might not want Mudzillas.
I love my Maxxis Zillas. Great all around mud/trail tire. They are super lite in weight and are very affordable.

I haven't ridden a lot of trails on my mudzillas, but they do ride very smooth above 5mph. below that they're a bit rough. They also wear great. If you do a lot of mud with a little trail, I'd certainly recommend them. A little mud with a lot of trails, and I'd probably go with something a bit less aggressive.

I was thinkin' that the Zillas may be my next purchase.
Waiting to hear from a few who ride creeks though to see how they do in them.
I would deffinatly ride the mud all the time, but most of the people I ride with are older and a little scared of the mud. Me on the other hand, I hit every mud hole I can find.

In that case you can't go wrong with Mudzillas then.

I like my Mudzilla's. They work good for the riding that I do. They do OK on the trails, good in the sand and real good in the mud.
As stated, they are heavy and they are a very stiff tire. If you hit all the mud holes and trail ride, I think that they are a good choice.

What machine are you going to put them on John??
I guess I should put the ATV I have in my signature. I own an 07 PoPo Sportsman 700, snorkled and lifted.

I have 27" Mudzillas on the 500 HO and they are a good mud/trail tire in my opinion. Like everyone else said their heavy, but since their going on a popo 700 you shouldn't have any problems turning them over. Under 10 mph their a little rough, but after that it smoothes out. For straight mud get Outlaws or Silverbacks, for mud and trails mudzillas, and for trails ITP 589s, Kenda Executioners or Bear Claws. As far as the mudzillas go i'd recommend them for mud and trail riding.
