Becareful with anything but the spanner wrench. The adjusters are cast and break pretty easy. Pipe wrench is a big no no.

The pipe wrech will squeeze the collar and may crack it. Makes one hell of a bang. The first one I though was a fluke, The scond time I learn not to use a pipe wrench any more.

I've ven got the factory Polaris spanner wrench and it just ain't big enough to get any leverage with, I had to resort to the ole channel lock pliers like Polaris700 did. They will break VERY easy so be sure to clean ALL the dirt and frime out from around the collar and soak it down with some penetrating oil. I actually had to take the shocks completely off the bike and sit down in the yard with a garden hose and a pick and litterally hand pick the grass and chuncks of dirt from around the collar, once I got it real clean and sprayed it with some WD-40, they turned just like they were brand new.

On the rear shocks mine are set at the lowest setting.I am wondering if I should leave them as they are set from the factory or Should I go up a notch or two.The reason is because now I have the front lifted 2" and the rear is all stock or perhaps I be better off adding a 1.5 " rear lift instead.Any opinion's on what I be better off doing?? If I have a 2" front lift what rear lift would I best with 1.5" or 2" ??

go with a 1.5" rear lift. it will make the bike sit nice and level. i had a 2" lift on the front of mine with the rear suspension turned up all the way and it looked goofy because the font was alot higher.

Thats exactly what I'm looking for. I going to go with the 1.5 rear lift.I told myself when I bought the front lift I would regret not getting them both at the same time and I would have saved myself some money buying them both together...live and learn the hard way.

Turk, I think your popo rocks. One of these days I'll lift mine and get the "589's" on it.

I'v broken my share of them, useing both the spanner and channal lock's.
Best bet for older ones is to spreay them down REAL GOOD with PB Blaster and let it sit over night.
Use the spanner wrench with a 10- 12" pipe as a breaker bar

If you can get the Polaris spanner wrench (they come with Rangers) then weld a 18" bar onto it, it works great.

Thats a good suggestion.I wish they would have included one with the sportsmans as well.
