Oil filter is on the right side ( down close to the foot break ) Honda oil is what I used get 4 quarts to so you have a little extra check it often after changing fill level seemed to change after I rode mine 10 min after riding around yard

honda oil best but if u r going to b doing alot of water rideing and drownin it out gets expensive i use castrol cheeper
I used Honda GN-4 10w-40 in my old Rincon. Be careful when taking the oil filter plate off, there is a spring in there you don't want to lose!

I have read that jacking the front tires off the ground helps to get all the oil out. I never did this though. I always just drained mine out and refilled with 3 quarts like you said.
The guys over at rinconriders.com can help ya with any question on a Rincon too.

I've used Honda GN-4 in mine since new but I think next time I will switch to Rotella synth oil. Not too pricey but still good oil.
