mine did the same thing.
bet your front wheel bearings were pretty bad off?
i took a hammer and beat the crap out of it on the back side where the bolt holds the rotor onto the hub. it took some massive beating but it came off. just rotate the hub around and hit each bolt. and if it messes the bolt up all you have to do is replace them. might cost you 1.00 where if you hit the rotor or any other parts it would cost you a crap load more.

Is that what happens when bearings go?Will the hub become hard to pull off?

Actually the front bearings aren't THAT bad off. I've only had that right side apart one time and it was about a 1 1/2 years ago whereas the left side is the side I've been tearing boots up on weekly so it has been apart and lubricated just about every dam week, that's why the left side came off so easily. I have no doubt that after two nights of pulling, tugging, beating, slamming, twisting, cussing, beating, cussing, beating, cussing, beating, I think that right side bearing is shot by now. It has ALOT more play in it then it did before I began the other night. No biggie on the bearings though because I already have front bearings and I planned on changing them since I have the strut housings taken back out of the bike, or at least the left side is out the bike right now.
Eric, I've beat the living shit out of the back side of the hub and it won't come off. I even tried a puller last night but the "fingers" wouldn't grab behind the hub good enough to pull on it. I was gonna try a slide hammer but I don't have anything large enough to span the width of the lug pattern. I'll beat on it some more tonight. Any other suggestions and I'm all ears.
What really ticks me off is the left side axle was pulled out the bike, completely finished in about 20 minutes, and now the right side wants to give me fits and take me 3 days to get the hub off. I even tried taking the whole strut housing with the hub attached off the bike but the axle splines are too far inside the hub to let it come off.
Did you get the hub off??
