Anyone running 27x11x14 up front. I took my quad completely down for deep cleaning and just for fun I wanted to see if the back tires would fit up front. I put them on there but didn't let it down off the lift. I looks like they'll fit. They are 27x11x14 Swamp Lites on 14 SS108's. 2" RD lift also. Thanks

Yours an 08??
Only problem I foresee is the tie rod ends, being that you got the lift with it... My 27X9X12's were on the tie rod ends on my 08 WITH the RD 2" lift... I just added 2 washers on the inside of the wheel like a small spacer for now.. Ofcourse mine is with the stock steel rims..
If yours are aftermarket then they are probably offset some so it might work..
Heck with those stock rims, my 25" Bighorns are awfully close... The 589's are STILL close with the 2 washers in there....
It seems the oplder ones have more clearance stock to the tie rods than the new ones do..
I know someone with 27" bighorns on stock rims and have plenty of clearance on an 04 model... And the bighorns are actually taller than 27's especially on the stock rims....

Yeah the offset is an inch out, so i think it will actually work. My 27x9x14 are about 2 inches from the tie rod ends and don't even stick outside the fenders. I am going to put them on there tomorrow and put the front tires (27x9x14) on the back and ride them around and see how they do. Thanks for the input

No problem man....
I'll be curious of how you like the thinner tires in the back..
Kinda wondering why you want to try it like that? Thinking of going wider all the way around?

Nah I am just going to put the skinny tires in the back to try the wide ones up front to see if they are going to work when the suspension flexes, turns, etc. I definitely wanna go wide all around.

Well rode them awhile and no rubbing. So now I am looking for a set (2) 14x8 SS108 with 27"x11 swamp lites.

I'm running 28x9x14 on the front and 28x11x14 on the rear. The rears bolted up just fine on the front but I didn't ride it around. That's with no lift.

I imagine with the 14" rims that they are probably clearing the tie rods cause they are taller, not to mention the offset...
I guess I need to get some rims!

Never thought about it til now. But wonder what this set up would do to my wheel bearings, drive axles, diff. and u-joint with the extra weight, and size. 27x11x14 swamp lites on front and rear

bearings might wear a lil faster with it being wider... ive never ran 14' wheels so i not sure bout the rest

I ran 27x12x12 on a bike I had before and never had a problem. Swamplites are not a heavy tire. Now if you were running some 29.5x12x12 on the front, then you might have a little extra wear.

Yeah thats what I thought. Its not like I am running a 350 Wolverine with punny little axles and a sodacan front diff. I mean these atv's are pretty beefy.
Should be able to take. Too late just hit the process order key!! I can only imagine the flotation possiblities.
