Does anyone know if the front propshaft for a 500 is the same as the 800, as in will it fit?

I know that the u-joints on mine are really sloppy, and all the part #'s match from the manuals I have except tyhe actual shaft in the middle of the assembly, so my guess is its either a diameter or a length difference, but since the u-joints have the same part #'s, that kinda rules out the diameter and makes it more likely a length issue right??? Sooo even if it is the wrong length, couldnt I use the u-joints off it, and would $35 be a good deal for 2 u-joints for that, or could I get them somewhere else cheaper????

I think I'm gonna get a pair of hubs, and a set of rear upper and lower control arms also just in case I really mess one up some day.

I wonder if those red springs on the front struts are any stiffer than the black ones on my 500 ????

Other than being new they should be the same. I could have ordered my ranger springs in red or black

Yes they are. Those are twin springs. Just a bit stiffer.

has anyone ordered parts to canada and was there any duty or other charges any info would be great

I got some parts but I have a U.S. address so i just go and pick it up. If you are having it sent to canada, tell them NOT to use UPS but to use USPS instead otherwise UPS will hammer you with brokerage and other fees.

I JUST ordered two front hubs from Ridgerunner. The shipping wasn't really that bad, he charged me $12.00 to ship two hubs so for $20.00 even, I got two front hubs.

A lot of their parts say NONE AVAILABLE, Including a part I was hoping to get from them.

I don't believe they are. I just got a set of rear springs and shocks from them and had no trouble.

I think parts are just selling really fast because of the still somewhat halfway decant deals on things,but yeah lots of stuff sold out.

I've thought about buying all new body panels from them for a back up or to eventually custom paint after my Camo turns colors.

I called last week about some axles and they told me that they had started sending their parts to an atv repair shop around channelview, tx. I called over there and the lady said they wanted almost 200.00 an axle, I asked her why they wanted more than ridgerunner and she told me they had went up on their prices and if I wanted them that was what I would pay for them. I had bought a few things from ridgerunner in the past and they were really good to deal with.

Thats the story I got a couple of weeks ago when I orderd 2 front propshafts. They said they had just made the first shipment and if it all went well they would no longer have parts for sale. Better act fast if you want any parts that they still have!!!

I've got here number. Her name is Leah and she owns outlaw atv park in Crosby, Tx. I talked with her today. She can still get ridgerunner plastics, but she can also get a complete NEW set from Polaris for $480 plus shipping. She can also get other stuff. They will have a website up right after mud nats. It's not active yet.
I didn't think her prices were high and she was a big help to me. I know ridgrunner's shipping was quite high, because I've bought from them before. If you want Leah's number pm me. I dunno if she want's it published or not. Or you could email her through http://www.outlawatvpark.com
