i think it might be time for some new springs. i just want to get some stiffer polaris springs. wandering if the 700 and 800 springs are stiffer then 500 springs? i would get ranger springs but they won't fit in rd's front lift. so would 800 springs be the next best thing?

I think Polaris dropped the ball in around 2004 or 2005 on the springs all together. Maybe they went with a cheaper supplier that uses either thinner or cheaper material and they all sag horribly now. I know that the EPI's have good reviews and to my knowledge, they always fit into my front lifts no problem.

06 500 EFI fronts right here, but I am not sure if that is per spring or per pair of springs.

the EPI springs are priced per spring...

and yes. thats 100.00 EACH.

the HL springs will NOT fit into pauls lifts. i had a set on my 03 and they were the bigger diam (even though i think they were selling the black ranger OEM springs as their heavy duty ones.)

EPI springs with a lift is the way to go IMO.

Look at Ranger springs.
They are about $45 Cnd each & are stiffer than th HLs are by about 20%. They may not fit RDs lift.
I realy like them on my bike.

Why won't the ranger springs fit in the RD lift? what's the issue?

The ranger springs are about a 1/4" larger in diameter on the end so they will not fit a front sportsman lift, BUT I also sell ranger lifts and they are the same on the front of the Ranger as the Sportsman but a 1/4" larger in diameter to accomodate the Rangers larger springs. I have sold a few sportsman lift kits with the front ranger spring spacers instead of the sportsman spring spacers because the customer either had HL or Ranger front springs.

ok, that makes sense.

Do you still have the old front springs you took off? Would you be interested in selling them? If so How much shipped to 66414 zip in Kansas.

Try Beese Lawn and Garden, I think they had some heavy duty springs sets for around $50.
