No, not completely blind, but if you don't move, they'll have trouble picking you out.
Also, the wind must have been at her back or for sure she would have smelled the turd in his shorts! LOL

Most likely a picky bastard. That or he didn't want her charging when she got hit by the arrow after seeing him draw to shoot.

Well, here in Ontario, every one that applies gets a tag to shoot a calf. You have to be drawn in a lottery style draw to get a tag for either a cow or a bull. He probably wasn't going to shoot the calf and most likely only had a bull tag.....either that or he was just scared to death and forgot to shoot!! ( I would probably have fallen in to the later. LOL )

Paul needs to watch that video. He might take notice that the guy was NOT on his cell phone chatting on the RD forum. LMAO.

LOL, eat me Lee, we hunt moose with rifles, although I would love to setup with a bow and a stand for moose, if that were the case, I would be in full camo, not hunter orange, and covered in sent to hid the turds in my drawers.

I would guess that he only had a bull tag, or no tag and didnt want to get trampled by the cow for shooting the calf. If he did have a cow tag, he could have easily shot her, then radio'ed a buddy to come shoot the calf, I hear they will hang around and ball when the mother is killed.

Moose are such cool animals. Not many other types of wild animals will walk right up to people just to give them a sniff and see whats going on especially with a little one around. I had a young bull hanging around my place for a couple of weeks, even seen him playing with my dog once it was really cool.
