Very impressive articles dude, thank you very much for posting it all here.
I have 1 question though, for the reverse over ride mod. What happenes if you leave the over ride switch on all the time? Will it damage anything or affect anything if you just leave it all all the time?

I try not to leave it on all the time. There have been times when I have left it on for a few minutes though. I wouldn't think it would hurt anything, but when left on it messes with being able to scroll threw all the pod information (tach, odometer, hours, etc.)

i have left my reverse overrideswitch on for a whole ride once. didn't do anything. i left it on because my tranny switch was crewed up so in low it said i was in neutral. i can't have 4x4 in neutral. so i lipped on the switch and it gave me 4x4 in low.

Paul, I cut mine on everytime we go riding and leave it on the whole time, although I do cut it off at the end of the ride. The only thing that can happen is if you have the bike in neutral and try to start the bike, it will go into diagnostic mode, that's all.

Instead of having a switch, has anyone combined the reverse light mod with the reverse overide mod and had a reverse overide mod that only was activated when the vehicle was in reverse. i've been thinking about this for a while (i'm an electrician so things like this make me think). i may attempt this during the summer when its warmer and i'm not freezing. i also thought of putting a switch anyways, but still ran it through a reverse relay so that i can turn it on/off but only when its in reverse. let me know what you guys think.
