Thanks guys so far I'm loving it. You don't hear or feel the shot, just the arrow hitting the target. It has the binary cam system, 31 inch axle to axle length. And according to the birth certificate it shoots 315fps ibo. But once I get it all tuned and everything on Monday I'll get it chronoed.

If you are looking at Mathews you may want to wait a bit. Supposedly they have a new speed demon coming out.

Congrats, I'm prolly stuck with my PSE for a few more seasons. She still kills em' dead though.
What did you upgrade from?

i upgraded from a css challenger. i've had it for about 8 years. freak accident happend, long story short i cut string-it scared the **** out of me yadi yadi yada i cracked a limb. all i do is bowhunt so i wasn't going to hang up my season. lets just say i'll be shootingthis one till it blows up on me!! but anyway i got some numbers off it today.
draw #- 72-73
speed with a heavy 420 grain arrow was ~287
so i'm going to shorten my arrows, change probably to a carbon express maxima 350 and i'll lose some weight on my arrow from that. try to get closer to the ibo 350 grains. i should push well over the 300 fps mark then.

here is my pin gap i'm shooting. once i get to the speed i want i may be taking pin out!:) 20,30,40 are good. 40 needs to go up just a hair. the 50 is pretty close could go up a hair also. and the last pin is just there i haven't tried 60 yet.

I'm really liking the new Hoyt for this year and they shaved 1/2 pound off it. I need to go shoot it.

i shot the alpha max and liked it alot. the mathews looks like a bear to draw. and the monster xlr8 coming out doesn't sound any better. the think i don't like is the specs say it has a5 inch brace height!! without out a string supressor that would cut your wrist off going that fast!! but so far i love my admiral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! played with it some more today got the paper tuning just about perfect and it already shoots better. had to readjust my sights. it feels like just getting a little more tuning out of it i probably picked up a few feet a second.

i'm also experimenting with something right now with my fletchings. i fletched up an arrow and instead of lining up the blazers i put them a half inch in front of the other. instead of being like this around the arrow: ---
---
---
they are like this : ---
---
---
seems to be shooting flatter in the longer yardages even on a brezzy day like we've had today.
