View Full Version : Fried Pork Tenderloin
This is something I came up with for a sandwich type meal.. I like things I can fix fast, that are good, not real big on box food. And I deep fry a ton of food, even though its not healthy... I have a pretty big double basket fryer and still fry with lard... As big as my fryer is I can only put 2 of these in at a time. So at any rate, get some pork tenderloins that have been run through a tenderizer, they should be pretty thin like 1/2 inch. Then this funky easy breading, put some good old Stove Top Stuffing in a ziploc bag, let the end open to vent air and lay it down on the counter just holding your hand over the open end and use something, whatever, I use a nice stainless steel sauce pan with a heavy bottom and beat the stuffing mix until its pretty fine, should be nearing powder form. shake a little garlic salt in the bag and mix it around. Then put one tenderloin at a time in the bag and smoosh it and massage it around so that its coated good in the crumbs. (kinda like shake and bake lol) have your fryer about 350 degrees and drop them in, flip about 1/3 way done, and cook until they are looking darker, not burnt, just crispy. and your done, what you do with it from there on out is your problem, I just like mine plain between two slices of butter bread but that's just me. Only takes a few minutes and tastes pretty good for real food quick. now i just gotta get some sweet potatoes at the store next time, been cravin some sweet potato fries.

LOL, I figured it was a northern thing. There are a few restuarants that you can get a sweet baked potato but I have never heard of OR seen anyone fry them up like french fries.
man we used to bake sweet potatoes all the time, I kinda forgot about that.
