SP 500 Brakes

Just did the brakes on my sportsman tonight.
What is the set screw "I will call it" on the front calipers?
I had a heck of a time getting the new pads back on, is there a trick I couldn't fiqure out?
I didn't have a chance to run it, and they seem pretty tight when I turn the wheel, hopefully they are OK.

The set screw is to ajust how tight it all is. when you ride it if they seem to be grabing back it out some.

You have to remove the set screw to get the pads on. Put the set screw back in, there should be 2-3 threads sticking out. If you have the set screw too tight the outer pad will bind up.
