I spent a good 10 to 12 hours working on a new 2009 Ranger 700 XP today to design a lift kit for it, I ended up with a good design that I am happy with, now I have to make some kits and get them tested. So be on the lookout for another good heavy duty lift kit ;)

Also, WOW, what a big wide machine, I cant imagine trying to trail ride with one of these beast machines, just so damn big....cool machine, and sure, I'd love to give it a try on the trails, but I think it just isnt for me...

I think the front is the same but the shocks in the rear are much larger and are air shocks

I can only find 1 ranger that is a 700 that has 4 wheels on it on this site, so maybe they dont have the schematics for it yet...

I put a 2" lift on the front of the ranger hd . The ranger has a cab on it, so with the 2" lift the ranger is back to 11.5" clearance. 12" is stock. What do you guys think, should I put a 4" lift on the front, it would only give me 2" over stock? The lift is a RUBBERDOWN LIFT.I would keep the 2" lift incase I take off the cab.

Paul the top of the rear shock is attached to the inside of the frame on the hd, is that where the xp is attached? Talking about when stock.

there are 2 holes to mount the rear upper shock mount to if I remember correctly, and the XP shocks were mounted on the inner hole, inside the frame rails closer to the center of the machine.
