I have a hole in mine that I thought I would fix temporarily by usin super glue and a small piece cut from a tire tube. That was 2 summers ago. It's still holdin. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v323/hobbles/icons/cg_shrug-1.gif

I always wondered if something like that would work hobbles.

That's a good idea hobbles.
I've seen people get buy for a weekend with some rtv silicon, but they weren't swamp riding just trail with the occasional small mud hole in there way.

I also tried silicon, and other stuff. It would work for a few days then start to leak. I would fill it back up with the CV grease I got from Advanced Auto, Even bought a needle grease gun as mine was a small hole. Had other things I needed so I tried the tube. It was a temp fix but it worked. So I left it alone. I really thought it would leak in the winter breakin through the ice and the cold. But so far,, so good. (now that I said it, it will leak)

thats what I'm gonna do in the morning, I just picked up some super glue the other day,I was thinking along the lines of aquarium sealer, thats what I;ve been using on my airbox lid(dries alot faster than RTV)

I ended up using the sealer I think its still there, had to break so much ice to get good mud probably did more damage than the little cut I started with, lots of cold one's and we found mud lol
