So I have this bad habbit of going around docks that people can litteraly dive off of in lakes and I have swamped the machine 2 times in the last month and a half. It runs great for the most part, but then it boggs and sometimes pops or backfires and wont run when I give it some throttle for a few seconds and up to a minute, then it runs great again for a while and then it starts again and so on and so on and so on. Soooo do you guys think its just water in my gas, or should I change the fuel filter, or drain the carb. (I dont know where I would do that though) or drain all the fuel, or pull the carb out and have it cleaned by someone than knows how to do that, OR all of the above.
Thanks.

I think you have a water in the gas problem.
all of the above.
Drain the gas ,
Drain the carb,
blow out the filter
HEET work good at removeing water..
but SeaFoam is better

SeaFoam is a good place to start. A new filter would not hurt either.
I think my Dial-A-Jet is a big help for water in the carb, as it pulls its fuel supply from the bottom of the bowl not letting water build up in the bottom.
