I found this on atvquadsquad - http://atvquadsquad.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9466018454/m/5661091584

Anyone tried advancing your timing on the twins with an offset key?

I haven't tried one myself but, there is a thread in the tech questions part of this forum that may help.

Here is the link.
Mine is on order. I will give some feedback once it is installed.

After reading your link make sure their keys are not just a popo key with a shoulder cut on to one side. Both top & bottom of the key should be the same size so they lock into both sides with no slop.

It should not look like this. The section sticking out on the bottom right should also be on the top left forming a Z shape.
It should look like this but with a small flat on the bottom of the rounded side

Feedback would be great. Also, if someone could dyno test would be better.

I also read that they may need to use premium fuel. I thought that using higher octane fuel in a motor with low compression would actually give you less power?

The local guy i talked to that builds & races drag sleds suggested i use a .04 key not .03 but i would need to run high octane to get the best out of the mod.

I dont want the extra cost of 94 fuel so i went with the .03 key & will take the small hit in performance that he said i would gain.
