Hey Brad, is that price for 1 unit, or are they sold as a pair?
Looks kinda like "the Club" for the car steering wheels.

It LOOKS like a good idea but all someone would have to do is take a screwdriver and remove the metal plate you have anchored down to the trailer and take off with it. Four phillip head screws is all I see that hold it down.

Good point, also, think about it, if you let the air out of the tires, you could probably get the upper hook off the axle or bumper pretty easy....

Heyyyy, I didbn't even think of that Paul. Also, you could just take a cordless drill and zip the wheel nuts off the wheel and take the wheel off, it would sit low enough then to take the hook off the axle. Still a good idea, just looks like it needs perfecting. $125.00 is alot of money though. I've got some 1 inch steel cables that I lock mine with, $20.00 each and they are WAY too thick to think about cutting with bolt cutters, it will take a grinder to cut these cables I got.

I like that louisiana gaurd dog thing, but like this unit, I think once you get it bolted to the trailer, you would have to weld the mounting bolts solid. They are a little pricy too, I may one day just make my own...

They bolt right through the trailer and when you have the locks on a piece underneath comes up over nuts so they cannot be taken off. They are quite a long loop so it would take alot to get them off. Regardlles quad on trailer and down the road on 5 minutes or less.

They look interesting - but I thought the ministry rule was 4 straps per bike while towing??I could be wrong though....

I can see that being handy as a quick tiedown
but as for security......
If I was a crook the bike would be mine in under a minute.
Now maybe if you took the I-bolt that goes in the trailer and made it the size of the lock.?

with a big bike like mine, it takes 3 people to compress the suspension all the way down. so unless you got it all the way down then used these, 3 people could jump on it and press it down and unhook these.
great idea though. just dont think it would work for me.
