I've got a 01 Fourtrax 350 (canadian version of rancher) and i was wondering how people have snorkeled them? Also i'd like to get a lift kit for it, or built one, anybody have ideas? Im new to this site.

Ranchers are easy to Snorkle. Basically all you need is one 1 1/2" hose running from your airbox to your front rack. Hard PVC will be your most time consuming. I've seen many simpliy just use spa hose and just run one continuous flex all the way up.
Once this is done, route all your vent lines up with the top of the snorkle and add di-electric grease to all your connections and sink 'er!

I've tried to put a snorkel on it before but once i was done the bike wouldnt run right, i think it wasnt getting air. Did i use to small of pipe? Also do i have to re-jet with the installation of a snorkel?

You may have to re-jet but you won't know until you run your hose. Length will cause the difference.
What size of hose did you use??? You must use one and a half inch inside diameter hose to get enough air flow. If you ran smaller, then you were starving the engine of air.

I must have used a smaller hose then needed.

The shorter the hose the better 1 1/2 is what we used on our Rancher and Foreman works fine on both bikes fit right into the factory air box boot

I didn't run it from my air box boot, I ran it from the end of the stock snorkel on the bike like right by the gas tank. Is that where i went wrong?

YES! I believe that part is necked down smaller than 1 1/2" BECAUSE is is so short. Remove that piece and run the 1 1/2" to your rack and you should be good to go!

Sounds like a plan, thanks! I've sunk my bike about 5 times now, but every time we pull it out it starts right up, then just blows steam for 20 mins haha
