I have always run a K&N in my Sportsmans, but what is best for the RZR, its a 2009 and it is snorkeled already, its the first thing we did to it. Should I go with a K&N, or a UNI filter or what??? Thanks.

i got the k & n and have never had an issue. can't say it was really a power increase, honestly as long as you have the new larger stock filter i don't think any aftermarket would have an advantage.

I will probaly get flack for this but.......
I hate K&N they kill engines slowly. Yes' they increase power, but they let through fine dust that wears the cylinder and rings. I run a stock air filter, small compromise for alonger life.
I have a new one for a 07 800 for sale used only for a couple months.
UNI makes a foam filter?

I agree, just ask X-2 Rider about his Popo engine with the K&N. $1,400+ in repairs! I'd stick with the stock filter and even pre-filter it somehow. Maybe stick a K&N on top of the snorkle and use the stock inside the filter box.:peep:

I have a K&N in the airbox that was for a sportsman since they didnt have one for the rzr at the time, I was told that they were the same. Then I have these Uni for the intake snorkels, I think I am going to take the one off of the belt intake. I dont think it is getting enough air but I dont know. The part number for mine is UP4200 and they are glued inside the lip on the 90 degree. If you wanted them to clamp on to the outside you could use the UP4300s. Here is a link to UNI http://www.unifilter.com/online%20catalog/universal.html
