Welcome to the forum:peace:

That sucks not having any legal place to ride. So do you haul your bike to a place you can ride or do you have a local out of the way place you do ride?
Its OK you can tell us:gossip:

Thanks for the welcome,
I do a little of both! Iv'e put some miles in N.H. and have been thinking about riding in Maine. When I ride locally, it's not as fun as Im always looking over my shoulder now for D.E.M. or P.D.:pout: It shouldn't be this way as Ive stated Im law abiding in all other areas of my life! :dizzy: They are really cracking down and busting poeple when they should be going after the real criminals and law breakers. Not to mention the state doesnt realize all the money its losing to registration fees, tourism dollars, etc. Anywho, dont want to seem like Im wining!:blabla:
All I have to say is that my mudbogging brothers down south and my muskeg and snowriding brothers up north.......YOU BOYS HAVE IT MADE! (Im jealous)

ATV's are easier to catch than real criminals. :tsk:
I know how you feel about always looking over your shoulder. It was only just this summer that we are able to ride in my Town & area legally. I did not do it much but it is not a nice feeling to have every person you see look down at you just because your on a bike.

I now make it a point to try & drive down main street on every long weekend when its full of tourists just because i can now...:boxing:
We are limited to 20kph in town so it take a long time to go any place but it gives the locals lots of time to checkout your bike as roll by.

I rode the North country trail system up in Stratford I believe. I also did some riding down at Feel good farms in Southern N.H.! That place was on private property and the owner was having some problems with some neighbors!

(Thanks for the welcome Turk)

I know those places, the great north woods has alot of great riding. I've riden a few times in Maine, but it's tough to get a group together to go in Maine with the no snorkle law.

You southern folks have it good, build a giant bike and use it like a submarine. not so easy in New England. In Maine it is illeagle to equip an atv with snorkles or any other devise to make it forge deep water. In New Hampshire it is illeagle to tread over wetlands (anything deeper than a couple inches). There is no such thing as a leagle mud hole in NH. I got caught by a park ranger when I was rack deep in mud and it cost me $300. Things are very enviroment friendly around here. Private land is the only place you can get away with it.

dang, i am all for treading lightly, but ... On the otherhand, down here, Bowie & Cass County Texas, there are no public places that allow ATV's or any motorized off road vech. the exception is an area north of lake Wright-Patman, but you must have a permit, the permits are issussed for hunting only.

Welcome to the forums dude, sorry to hear about all your ATV limitations where you are at, that sucks man. As far as the no snorkel thing goes, I have yet to be in a boat that does NOT leave a nice blue slick EVERYWHERE it goes in the water from fuel or oil, yet I never see it left behind an ATV that playes in the deep.....

Thats what I always wondered. Why in the hell do envirofags always jump on the mud and water riding individuals whether its a truck or atv. BOATs emit a lot of pollution into the water then atvs every will.

In North Carolina, they are closing down half of Tellico because they said it is putting sediment into the water.
Now that city is predicted to lose over 6.5 million dollars in tourism money.
Seems stupid to me, but whatever.

Thats how it works man...They just go out there and talk people believe it...Then we have to do all kinds of research to prove them wrong...But they dont have to do shit except just say it.... That will just piss you off when ever you think about it....Thats why i will not vote for a democrat they want to take your guns give you shitty healthcare....Dont sound fair to me...Oh well thats how it goes....
