What did YOU do for the Canada Day long weekend???

We did our 3rd anual trip up north to a friends place for a canoe trip. Basically, we camp in their yard, right on a nice quiet lake, we set up Friday afternoon, and then drink. Saturday is a few different events for the day, this year we did a little fishing tournament with mostly the dads and the kids, 3 boats, had fun even though I got skunked. After that, we went out skeet shooting, my first time doing it, and with a single skeet, it got pretty easy, but with 2 at a time, forget about it LOL. after that, more drinking hehehe, some swiming and waterskiing was put off due to lowsey weather Saturday so we drove some golf balls into the lake, dont worry, they go diving for them durring the summer. Then we drank some more, and did the bon fire thing all night. Sunday is canoe day, we loaded up about a dozen canoe's (smallest group in my 3 years going) and we do about a 4 hour canoe trip around a lake, down a river, stop for lunch mid river. We then go a little farther and the youngins (and me of course) do some olypic style diving off a bridge that consits of pretty much just jumping on my part LOL, then we hit the big lake and canoe across that to another river and then back to camp. After that, its pretty much NAP time. Next up is more drinking, and fireworks, but we dont have an asshole for a neighbour like 500blue had to deal with. Monday morning, we hit the hwy parking lot LOL on our way home.

heres a few pics from camp, I'll post up a couple canoe pics when I get them from my buddy, I dont bring my camera in the canoe since we flipped our last year and had it folded around backwords in some rapids across a big rock LOL.

Saturday-installed a Rubberdown lift kit
Sunday-went mud bogging in Orton Ont. followed by local fireworks
Monday-cleaned ATV with a nasty hangover LOL

wow paul sounds like a good time ..howd u get the deer to come so close is it a wild deer ?? is the long weekend over ? someone forgot to tell me i am still at the trailer lol...we did some atving rode from cameron to 5 points did the big loop up to picard lake and back 151 kms then sunday did the the rail trial to kinmount ..then a wheel bearing went bad so bikes in the shop up here ..and on the way back from dropping off the atv gezz i traded in the truck cant believe i did that but bought a 2003 grand marque utimate edition looks like a atv trailer in the near future .....happy trails guys

Hey Greg, yes its a wild deer, but its been coming to their house for 5 years now, its so used to people on THEIR property that anyone there can feed or pet it.

I played baseball in a ball tournament on the weekend. Three games on saturday and three games on sunday. We were beat out in the semi-finals. Then on Sunday night we went to a fish fry with the ball team. Hey Ramit......i might have a trailer for you.

Finished my new garage for the toys.........drank wine, more work on the garage, drank wine........BUT, when it's all done it will house my ATV's and all the 2 wheel toys! Just paint and it's ready. At Mosport the next 2 weekends and after that will get back on the ATV. Happy riding!

Hey GECKO, what size did you build, I'm planning a new garage out behind the house. I was thinking 20 x 22 for the toys, maybe a little bar, and possibly some day a Harley.

Hey RD. Looks like you had a good time. I'm just back from a week at the trailer. Fisher1 came up for Wed. Thur. and Fri. We did 105km on Thur. Nice ride. The weather even brightened up.
