I'm not one to tell other people what to do or how to raise there kids, and by all means I hope that poor kid is okay and not permanetly disfigured or dead, but this is why I always insist that ALL kids should be wearing a helmet. Granted a helmet cant fix "stupid" or prevent all injuries, it can still prevent a lot of them.
