Utility is the loudest by far.
Power gain is pretty close on both.
With the pipe...you'll probably need the programmer also.

The XL needs no repacking also.... That is nice...
I have heard the XL on a brute, and they are the loudest, but again it was a brute.

Okay, so i think i'll go with the utility, louder and cheaper and i'll also buy the optimiser, they sell kit on ebay for 600$Can, might go with that.

Both of these pipes here are HMF if Im not mistaken...

With the packing, I was referring to the internal parts of it.. The Utility, has packing in it, and about everytime you ride water, it will get louder, once that packing starts falling apart....

With the Swamp series, it will not fall apart.. It is all solid in there...

I like the Utility series myself, but the new swamp series seems less maintanaince to me...

Here is a clip of a honda rancher with the utility...

And here is a clip with the swamp series.... this one has the snorkel attachment that is available with the swamp XL

And this one is the swamp series without the snorkle attachment.... It is noticably quieter, but I think some is due to the recording..

Hope this helps ya.... There are MANY MANY pipes out there, but for the money, the sound, and the performance, HMF is the one to get.. ANY series.. In My Opinion.....

Well, now i'm mixed up, the utility is 110$us cheaper and it's the loudest, but their is chance that it fell apart if i go in water, and i can't find any video of a rincon with the XL to compare the sound with the utility. After a little search on ebay, i finaly found a XL for the Rincon but it's like 580$CAD juste for the pipe and the optimiser is around 350$CAD so it will cost me around 900$CAD for the XL compared to 600$CAD for the utility, but the XL might last much longer.

WOW..

GET THE UTILITY... It will NOT fall apart as bad as you are thinking......
And when it does, it will not be alot of money to do it, ATLEAST NOT IN THE STATES.....
I cannot believe the price in CANADA.. WoW
If the PRICE is the difference, then I wouldnt worry about the packing... here, I can find packing for around 20 bucks, OR LESS...

I HAVE THE PENLAND PRO, which for my Can Am is in effect the UTILITY..
I did not mean to mislead at All.. I was only trying to show the differences, and give you a better view on the different series...

Well, for the price, the 900$ is the price for the XL and the efi optimiser and the shipping is included. The shipping alone is around 250$, but it's still much higher than in the US.

I thing i'll go with the Utility, for the number of time i go fender deep, i think it'll last pretty well.

I agree... You had said that you do not ride much deep deep water.... Ive had mine for a summer and winter and rode little bit this season in the water, it IS loud, but, not like the PIPE fell apart..

As I said, I was NOT trying to mis lead, OR to lead you into any purchase...
Only trying to show, and further give details of the differences and give insight into the different pipes...

I thinkk you will be much happy with utility..

I have been with mine so far.
